Garrett Hallman - President & Co-Founder
Garrett Hallman is the President and Co-Founder of Preferred Pumping Services and a respected leader in oilfield operations, known for driving innovation, efficiency, and safety in the most demanding environments. With over a decade of experience in hydraulic fracturing, pump down, and acidizing services, Garrett has earned the trust of leading energy companies across the industry.
Before founding Preferred Pumping Services, Garrett served in executive roles at Advanced Stimulation Technologies (AST), including VP of Operations, VP of Maintenance, and VP of Engineering. Under his leadership, the company operated with a flawless safety record and was recognized for fast, efficient service execution that consistently exceeded client expectations.
Garrett holds degrees in Civil Engineering and Wind Engineering from Texas Tech University. Starting his career in West Texas’s Permian Basin, he quickly advanced through the ranks, known for his technical expertise, strategic leadership, and commitment to operational excellence.
Today, Garrett leads Preferred Pumping Services with a focus on performance integrity and client success, building a company that is synonymous with safety, reliability, and trusted service delivery in pump down and acidizing operations.
Daniel Ortiz - Vice President & Co-Founder
Daniel Ortiz brings over a decade of hands-on operational expertise to his role as Vice President of Operations at Preferred Pumping Services. Known for his exceptional leadership in the field, Daniel has earned a reputation for driving safety, efficiency, and client satisfaction in high-intensity oilfield environments.
Previously serving as Operations Manager at Advanced Stimulation Technologies (AST), Daniel successfully led four frac fleets, achieving an exceptionally high safety record with few incidents. His commitment to fast, efficient rig-up and rig-down operations, coupled with 24/7 problem-solving support, established strong client trust and operational excellence.
With a focus on diligent execution and crew leadership, Daniel ensures every project meets the highest standards of performance and safety. His ability to adapt quickly, solve challenges in real-time, and lead with integrity continues to deliver exceptional results for Preferred Pumping Services and its clients.
